With 20 years of experience in dynamic software industry segments and a strong track record in strategic program development, social marketing, demand generation, sales enablement and brand awareness, Mr. Lewis brings exceptionally relevant experience to Peoplefluent. In 2012, Peoplefluent was acknowledged as a breakout human capital management (HCM) leader and earned a host of accolades, including Best Product of the Year by Human Resources Executive and “Awesome New Technology” at the HR Technology Conference and Expo. Leading the talent management market with a new social collaboration platform, Peoplefluent makes this focused and strategic marketing appointment to unite and inform the company’s product strategy and marketing endeavors for the best possible customer outcomes.
Mr. Lewis’ highly acclaimed book, Stand Out Social Marketing (published by McGraw Hill in November 2012), which offers case studies and insightful social media executive interviews to provide a set of strategies and tactics designed specifically to help brands rise above the existing noise on the social web, underscores his invaluable knowledge in an area of critical importance in the evolution of the HCM arena. Not only will his insights transform Peoplefluent’s strategic marketing initiatives, but they will also help inform and refine the company’s newest product suites.

Mr. Lewis joins Peoplefluent from Awareness, Inc., where he served as vice president of Marketing and Sales for nearly five years and helped define the new Social Media Management Software space. In the last year, Mr. Lewis developed and implemented plans that resulted in a 500 percent increase in customer acquisition over 12 months. Prior to his role at Awareness, Mr. Lewis spent three years as vice president of Marketing for Salesnet, Inc., a SaaS-based software leader. In this role, he oversaw and executed marketing and demand generation initiatives that resulted in a 500 percent improvement in lead flow, a predictable 3 percent response rate, decreased cost per lead and a 250 percent return on investment for programs executed. Before joining Salesnet, Mr. Lewis led marketing at several early stage companies including StreamServe and interlinkONE driving their maturity into larger organizations.
He has a B.A. from Stonehill College and an M.B.A. from Bentley College. Mr. Lewis served as president of the Business Marketing Association of Boston for an unprecedented 3-year term and served as marketing chairman of the Alumni Association and Board of Bentley College. In addition, The Online Marketing Institute recently named Mr. Lewis one of the Top 40 Digital Strategists of 2012.
