Charles S. Jones

Chairman of the Board and CEO
 

Charles S. Jones, who has spent much of his career as an operating executive for a wide range of large public international companies and small growth-driven private companies, has a reputation for innovation and customer-centric growth strategies. He has a proven and highly successful track record in integrating software companies, identifying key inflection points of differentiation and unleashing the inherent value to the market.

Under the leadership of Mr. Jones, PeopleFluent experienced significant growth both organically and through acquisition, integration, and business partnership strategies. The company also brought numerous innovative products to market, receiving many awards and accolades including PeopleFluent Mobile Applications being selected for the coveted "Awesome New Technologies" spot at the HR Technology® Conference & Exposition, winning the HR technology industry's Integrated Talent Management Shootout at the 13th Annual HR Technology Conference & Exposition, and named a finalist in the Cloud Computing/Software-as-a-Service Category in the Eighth Annual American Technology Awards.

Before joining PeopleFluent and becoming Managing Partner of Bedford Funding, Mr. Jones was Chairman and then CEO of Markham, Ontario-based Geac Computer Corporation, a Toronto Stock Exchange listed software company with annual revenues approaching U.S. $500 million. During Mr. Jones's tenure, he transformed the Geac business with two large public-company acquisitions and built an innovative and market-leading business intelligence software enterprise focused on the financial value chain. Geac received the highest ratings among all competitive offerings in Ventana Research's 2005 Performance Management Vendor and Product Scorecard. On October 1, 2001, the Wall Street Journal named Geac the number one performing global stock. In 2004, Mr. Jones was named on the top 10 list of CEOs in Canada and, in 2005, was recognized on the top 25 list of CEOs in Canada by Canada's National Post newspaper.

Courtney Cromley

Chief Customer Officer
 

Courtney Cromley manages the Global Services, Support, and Customer Success organizations, ensuring that the company is strategically aligned to help customers optimize their current investments with PeopleFluent Talent Management innovations and industry best practices. Her introduction to the PeopleFluent team began in 2012 where she served as the Director of Customer Support for two years and led tremendous success in a unified product and services strategy. Ms. Cromley's success continued to grow, as she was promoted to the VP of Professional Services and Support, where she steadily increased customer satisfaction and has been a significant contributor to PeopleFluent’s tremendously successful unified product and services strategy.

Prior to PeopleFluent, Ms. Cromley served as Ceridian Corporation’s VP of Client Services where she led North American HR Outsourcing SaaS services to over $500 million in annual revenue. Ms. Cromley has also held managerial roles at Affiliated Computer Services where she headed the new business acquisition process resulting in contracts with several Fortune 500 companies. Early on in her career, Ms. Cromley spent six years at Sitel Corporation (formally ClientLogic), where she was accountable for over 600 representatives providing customer service and technical support for a variety of organizations. Ms. Cromley graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts and Science.

Bryan Riehl

Senior Vice President, North American TA/TM Sales
 
As Senior Vice President Software North America TA/TM Sales, Bryan Riehl is responsible for managing the vision, direction, and execution of the company’s North American sales force. Riehl is return employee to PeopleFluent, where he last served as the most successful Regional Vice President in the sales organization, responsible for managing the East Coast from 2012-2014. He has more than 20 years of experience as a driven, motivational, and involved leader, with deep knowledge of the human capital management space and a proven track record of executing sophisticated six-figure and up sales deals into the enterprise. During his previous tenure at PeopleFluent, Riehl brought in many of the company’s largest full-suite customers and closed several contracts in excess of $1M. His leadership, focus, and willingness to participate fully to drive towards the win will serve him well in his new role.
 
Prior to his return to PeopleFluent, Riehl was at SunGard Financial Systems, where he served as Senior Vice President of Sales for XSP, the company’s cloud-based data management and scrubbing solutions suite. In just over two years, he drove dramatic increases across the business, structured and managed all geographic regions, developed comprehensive territory and sales plans, recruited excellent teams, and drove short and long-term performance improvements across the organization.  
 
Before joining PeopleFluent in 2012, Bryan served as Vice President and then as Senior Vice President of New Sales at SunGard and was promoted to Vice President, Global Sales Operations. He began his career in financial services and sales, working with companies Bear Stearns and Fidelity Investments. Riehl holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Hobart College.

Steve Shillingsburg

SVP Engineering and Operations
 
As Senior Vice President Software Engineering and Operations Steve Shillingsburg is responsible for managing PeopleFluent’s technical strategy. He has extensive experience working product development organizations through emergence, acquisitions and divestures, methodology rollouts, platform re-architectures, and technology consolidations. His proven expertise consulting with key decision-makers and stakeholders to leverage best-practices to seamlessly align products and solutions to financial, quality, and efficiency objectives serves him well in this senior leadership role at PeopleFluent.
 
Prior to joining PeopleFluent, Shillingsburg was recruited by the CTO of Cengage Learning to lead transformational projects focused on organizational design, process, and technology as the company continues its transition from  a print publisher to a technology enabled content provider. Previously, he served as vice president of research and development at Certara, where he managed a staff of software engineers, quality engineers, scientific and statistical analysts, product managers, and functional managers and demonstrated significant measurable improvements on key metrics.
 
He has also held vice president roles in product development and application development for Thomas Reuters Healthcare and Thomson Reuters, Scientific, Liquent. Shillingsburg began his career in engineering and software development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Scranton.

Eileen Adler

Chief Human Resources Officer
 

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Eileen Adler leads PeopleFluent’s human resources team, where she is responsible for driving high-impact HR programs that maximize employee potential, build engagement and facilitate growth.

Ms. Adler has a successful track record of developing strategies and plans to enhance staff performance, build engagement and deliver on rapidly changing organizational needs at leading organizations such as Sun Life Financial and Boston Scientific where she has held senior roles in HR.

Prior to joining PeopleFluent, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer for ikaSystems, a private equity SaaS firm. At ikaSystems, Ms. Adler led transformational growth, strategic alignment and all human capital initiatives. Eileen holds a Bachelor and Master of Science from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Frederik Ballon

Managing Director EMEA Operations
 

Frederik Ballon manages all sales and operations activities for PeopleFluent's Talent Management Suite in the EMEA region. He leads a London-based team that provides HCM transformation and technology implementation projects for multinational customers in a wide variety of industry sectors. Mr. Ballon joined PeopleFluent in 2005 and has been an Account Executive, Project Manager and Consultant to many global organizations in the areas of talent management and deployment, staffing best practices and HR analytics. Under his tenure, PeopleFluent’s growth and market adoption at large global organizations (5000+ employees) has been significant.

Mr. Ballon has extensive experience in the human capital management space. He began his career as an Executive Recruiter at Mezquita and Associates, Belgium before joining mobile phone operator Proximus as a Recruiter and HR Project Manager; implementing HR technology solutions including PeopleFluent’s RMS recruiting platform. Mr. Ballon moved on to become Recruitment Manager at AMI Semiconductor, where he managed the global staffing team and was also responsible for the global roll-out of several company-wide HRIS projects.

Mr. Ballon holds a Masters degree in Psychology from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, a European Masters degree in Sport Psychology from KU Leuven, Belgium and Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, as well as a Postgraduate in Business Administration from KU Leuven, Belgium. He is fluent in four languages: Dutch, French, English and German.

Stephen Bruce

Senior Vice President, Commercial Affairs
 

Stephen Bruce is responsible for aligning PeopleFluent’s internal organizations to coordinate commercial activities, specifically strategy and execution of our selling strategies, promotion, and messaging.  This includes expanding the value added services offered through the PeopleFluent Research Institute (PRI). The Senior Vice President of Commercial Affairs (SVPCA) effectively supports the sales teams by working cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and the global services and support organizations.  This position ensures that the value delivered across all of PeopleFluent’s innovative solutions and services continues to advance the PeopleFluent brand and create the best possible customer experiences.

Stephen’s deep understanding of industry best practices, combined with his knowledge of our products and the human capital management market, provide significant subject matter expertise and thought leadership in the future innovation of our product offerings, sales strategies and the messaging to our target markets.  Combined with his core strengths around organizational development, project and knowledge of our internal processes, Stephen provides great value in this role and a powerful knowledge-base for our teams.

Mr. Bruce has been a Human Resources practitioner and executive for more than twenty years, driving HR strategy and initiatives for large international public companies, including CDC Software Inc., Infor Global Solutions, Ecredit, Inc., and Geac Computer Corporation.  He has served as PeopleFluent’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources, not only managing the entire HR organization and integrating acquisitions and new talent at a rapid pace, but also strategically influencing the evolution of our Talent Management solutions suite with meaningful contributions to product direction, acquisition strategy and priority.  

Marc Husain

Vice President Vendor Management System (VMS)
 

As Vice President of the VMS business unit for PeopleFluent, Marc Husain is responsible for leading a dedicated group of individuals who manage more than $7 billion dollars in non-employee spend. PeopleFluent’s VMS is a critical component of ​the company’s total talent solution and facilitates all non-employee labor and services procurement, providing organizations around the world with true visibility into compliance, cost, controls, risk mitigation and efficiency.

Mr. Husain has been an integral part of the VMS business and sales strategy, bringing to PeopleFluent his experience as one of the original early executives at itiliti. Over the last three years Mr. Husain has led channel and direct sales efforts for the VMS business division which has continued to see double-digit year over year growth and expanded to include more than 170+ customers across the globe.

During his 15+year tenure at PeopleFluent, Mr. Husain has held several senior management roles including Director of North America Sales and Senior Director of Business Development.

Prior to joining PeopleFluent Mr. Husain led Midwest and West Coast Channel Sales at Sprint and Frontier Communications and held a Senior Channel Management position at Memotec. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business & Administration from Alfred University.

Jim Bowley

Vice President of Product Management
 

As Vice President of Product Management for PeopleFluent, James Bowley is responsible for leading the company’s innovation strategy and efforts around planning, forecasting, and production for PeopleFluent’s leading talent management suite of solutions. Mr. Bowley has been with PeopleFluent for more than 17 years and has held several senior management roles including Vice President of Strategy and Vice President of Corporate Sales and Operations. During his tenure, PeopleFluent has experienced double-digit growth and the company’s solution footprint has expanded to include differentiated offerings such as video, mobile and social capabilities and technology to support diversity and compliance initiatives. As a recognized thought-leader in the human capital management space, Mr. Bowley is a regular contributor to publications such Talent Management Magazine, Human Resource Executive, HR Magazine and TLNT.com.

Prior to joining PeopleFluent, Mr. Bowley was a Consultant for Towers Watson and Mercer where he worked in the organizational consulting and communications practices. He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science, English Literature and Philosophy from Boston College and a Masters in English Literature from Boston College.
