Charles S. Jones

Chairman of the Board

Charles S. Jones, who has spent much of his career as an operating executive for a wide range of large public international companies and small growth-driven private companies, has a reputation for innovation and customer-centric growth strategies. He has a proven and highly successful track record in integrating software companies, identifying key inflection points of differentiation and unleashing the inherent value to the market.

Under the leadership of Mr. Jones, PeopleFluent experienced significant growth both organically and through acquisition, integration, and business partnership strategies. The company also brought numerous innovative products to market, receiving many awards and accolades including PeopleFluent Mobile Applications being selected for the coveted "Awesome New Technologies" spot at the HR Technology® Conference & Exposition, winning the HR technology industry's Integrated Talent Management Shootout at the 13th Annual HR Technology Conference & Exposition, and named a finalist in the Cloud Computing/Software-as-a-Service Category in the Eighth Annual American Technology Awards.

Before joining PeopleFluent and becoming Managing Partner of Bedford Funding, Mr. Jones was Chairman and then CEO of Markham, Ontario-based Geac Computer Corporation, a Toronto Stock Exchange listed software company with annual revenues approaching U.S. $500 million. During Mr. Jones's tenure, he transformed the Geac business with two large public-company acquisitions and built an innovative and market-leading business intelligence software enterprise focused on the financial value chain. Geac received the highest ratings among all competitive offerings in Ventana Research's 2005 Performance Management Vendor and Product Scorecard. On October 1, 2001, the Wall Street Journal named Geac the number one performing global stock. In 2004, Mr. Jones was named on the top 10 list of CEOs in Canada and, in 2005, was recognized on the top 25 list of CEOs in Canada by Canada's National Post newspaper.

Steve Pogorzelski


Steve Pogorzelski, PeopleFluent‘s President, brings over 25 years of management experience in various global leadership roles. Most recently, he was the CEO of Avention OneSource, a private equity backed SasS and Big Data company that was sold to Dun & Bradstreet in January 2017.   He was also the Chief Revenue Officer at Vocus (NASDAQ: VOCS) which was purchased by the private equity firm GTCR in June 2014.  Before that, he was the CEO of ClickFuel, a SaaS-based marketing analytics platform provider which was sold to a private equity firm.  He is also the former President of and Group President of Monster Worldwide where he was part of the executive team that grew the Company from $45 million in sales to $1.4 billion in revenue.

Steve is also the co-author of "Finding Keepers" which was published in hardcover by McGraw-Hill. He has been a frequent commentator on global labor markets and has appeared on CNN, Bloomberg TV, CNBC, ABC Nightly News, PBS News Hour, Fox News and numerous local television outlets.  He has been quoted in dozens of newspapers including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and the Boston Globe.  He has also offered commentary on NPR radio, Wall Street Journal Radio and AP Radio amongst others.

He is a former board member and Chairman at Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries and a member of the University of Wisconsin Letters & Science Board of Visitors.  He currently serves as a board member or board advisor at nine companies all of which is he has also participated in as an investor including StartDate Labs,, AppCast, HiringSolved, Echovate, ShiftGig, Work4Labs, ngage and GuideOn.

A native of Milwaukee, he is a 1983 graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a BA in Journalism/Advertising. He has two grown children and lives in Cape Cod with his wife of 28 years.

Stephen Bruce

Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer

Stephen Bruce is responsible for aligning PeopleFluent’s internal organizations to coordinate commercial activities, specifically strategy and execution of our selling strategies, promotion, and messaging.  This includes expanding the value added services offered through the PeopleFluent Research Institute (PRI). The Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer effectively supports the sales teams by working cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and the global services and support organizations.  This position ensures that the value delivered across all of PeopleFluent’s innovative solutions and services continues to advance the PeopleFluent brand and create the best possible customer experiences.

Stephen’s deep understanding of industry best practices, combined with his knowledge of our products and the human capital management market, provide significant subject matter expertise and thought leadership in the future innovation of our product offerings, sales strategies and the messaging to our target markets.  Combined with his core strengths around organizational development, project and knowledge of our internal processes, Stephen provides great value in this role and a powerful knowledge-base for our teams.

Mr. Bruce has been a Human Resources practitioner and executive for more than twenty years, driving HR strategy and initiatives for large international public companies, including CDC Software Inc., Infor Global Solutions, Ecredit, Inc., and Geac Computer Corporation.  He has served as PeopleFluent’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources, not only managing the entire HR organization and integrating acquisitions and new talent at a rapid pace, but also strategically influencing the evolution of our Talent Management solutions suite with meaningful contributions to product direction, acquisition strategy and priority.  

Michelle Teichman

Executive Vice President, Recruiting and Healthcare

Michelle Teichman has been with PeopleFluent for over 16 years, and as Executive Vice President, oversees PeopleFluent’s suite of SaaS-based Talent Acquisition applications, the company’s largest product by revenue.  PeopleFluent’s recruiting products include recruiting workflow, onboarding, interview scheduling, and contact management modules.   Ms. Teichman is responsible for all recruiting product decisions, from creation through product management and development.  She is also responsible for go-to-market commercial affairs, including product management, marketing and business development representatives.  PeopleFluent’s recruiting product has a strong, international client bases, with particular strength in the healthcare segment. 
Ms. Teichman is also responsible for the Recruiting Mirror, which uses video, peer-to-peer collaboration, personalization and analytics to dramatically improve recruiting, by amplifying talent engagement activities, enabling a collaborative hiring process personalized for candidates and hiring managers.
Ms. Teichman serves as an independent director on the Boards of two high growth healthcare companies, Voalte, Inc., and MDLive, Inc.  Voalte develops HIPAA compliant smartphone solutions used by doctors, nurses and other medical personnel that simplify caregiver communication and enable care teams inside and outside the hospital to access and exchange information securely  MDLive provides digital delivery of high-quality, convenient, cost-efficient virtual care for medical and behavioral health conditions. MDLive provides consumers, health plans, health systems and self-insured employers with 24/7/365 access to its network of board-certified doctors and licensed therapists via secure online video, and phone through the MDLIVE service and technology platform.
Prior to her role as Senior Vice President, Ms. Teichman has served in a number of leadership roles at PeopleFluent including director of software engineering, manager of software engineering, and manager of the database team. Ms. Teichman has also held technical roles at Plurimus, Keane, Ciber, and Computer Associates. She is a results-driven software engineering management professional skilled at delivering market-leading, high performance, multi-million dollar web applications built in native SaaS architecture for Fortune 500 companies. Michelle Teichman earned her Bachelor Business Administration in Management Information Systems at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.

Jim Bowley

Executive Vice President, Product Management and Strategic Accounts

As Executive Vice President, Product Management and Strategic Accounts for PeopleFluent, James Bowley is responsible for leading the company’s innovation strategy and efforts around planning, forecasting, and production for PeopleFluent’s leading talent management suite of solutions. Mr. Bowley has been with PeopleFluent for more than 17 years and has held several senior management roles including Vice President of Strategy and Vice President of Corporate Sales and Operations. During his tenure, PeopleFluent has experienced double-digit growth and the company’s solution footprint has expanded to include differentiated offerings such as video, mobile and social capabilities and technology to support diversity and compliance initiatives. As a recognized thought-leader in the human capital management space, Mr. Bowley is a regular contributor to publications such Talent Management Magazine, Human Resource Executive, HR Magazine and

Prior to joining PeopleFluent, Mr. Bowley was a Consultant for Towers Watson and Mercer where he worked in the organizational consulting and communications practices. He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science, English Literature and Philosophy from Boston College and a Masters in English Literature from Boston College.

Brad Miller

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Brad Miller is responsible for overseeing PeopleFluent’s worldwide operations of accounting, financial planning, reporting, treasury, and legal matters. He is focused on working with the leadership team to create value throughout the organization and drive bookings and pipeline. Mr. Miller brings strong business acumen, strategic orientation, and discipline to PeopleFluent, and builds partnerships throughout the company to drive its success.

Mr. Miller’s prior experience includes prominent senior financial roles at several global technology companies, including most recently as CFO at Unitrends, a cloud enabled business recovery and continuity solution platform provider. Prior to Unitrends, Brad Miller was the CFO at ikaSystems (acquired by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan), a SaaS provider of business automation and process solutions for health plans, and also served as the CFO of Emptoris, a supply and contract management software provider, where he led the sale and subsequent integration of the company into IBM. Mr. Miller has also held CFO and other financial executive positions at public technology companies, including Aspen Technology, Viisage (acquired by L-1 Identity Solutions), Sonus Networks, Sapient (acquired by Publicis) and Wang Global (acquired by Getronics, N.V.).

Mr. Miller received his BA from William & Mary and his MBA from the Whittemore School, University of New Hampshire. He started his career at Coopers & Lybrand where he earned his CPA.

Bryan Riehl

Senior Vice President, North American TA/TM Sales

As Senior Vice President Software North America TA/TM Sales, Bryan Riehl is responsible for managing the vision, direction, and execution of the company’s North American sales force. Riehl is return employee to PeopleFluent, where he last served as the most successful Regional Vice President in the sales organization, responsible for managing the East Coast from 2012-2014. He has more than 20 years of experience as a driven, motivational, and involved leader, with deep knowledge of the human capital management space and a proven track record of executing sophisticated six-figure and up sales deals into the enterprise. During his previous tenure at PeopleFluent, Riehl brought in many of the company’s largest full-suite customers and closed several contracts in excess of $1M. His leadership, focus, and willingness to participate fully to drive towards the win will serve him well in his new role.

Prior to his return to PeopleFluent, Riehl was at SunGard Financial Systems, where he served as Senior Vice President of Sales for XSP, the company’s cloud-based data management and scrubbing solutions suite. In just over two years, he drove dramatic increases across the business, structured and managed all geographic regions, developed comprehensive territory and sales plans, recruited excellent teams, and drove short and long-term performance improvements across the organization.  

Before joining PeopleFluent in 2012, Bryan served as Vice President and then as Senior Vice President of New Sales at SunGard and was promoted to Vice President, Global Sales Operations. He began his career in financial services and sales, working with companies Bear Stearns and Fidelity Investments. Riehl holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Hobart College.

Eileen Adler

Chief Human Resources Officer

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Eileen Adler leads PeopleFluent’s human resources team, where she is responsible for driving high-impact HR programs that maximize employee potential, build engagement and facilitate growth.

Ms. Adler has a successful track record of developing strategies and plans to enhance staff performance, build engagement and deliver on rapidly changing organizational needs at leading organizations such as Sun Life Financial and Boston Scientific where she has held senior roles in HR.

Prior to joining PeopleFluent, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer for ikaSystems, a private equity SaaS firm. At ikaSystems, Ms. Adler led transformational growth, strategic alignment and all human capital initiatives. Eileen holds a Bachelor and Master of Science from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Tom Tardio

Managing Director WCAD/WPA and Chairman and CEO, Socialtext

As Managing Director of the WCAD/WPA organization and Chairman and CEO of Socialtext, Tom Tardio is responsible for brand reputation and enhancing revenue and profitability. Mr. Tardio has a wealth of experience managing businesses through significant growth and has deep knowledge and experience in the converging fields of technology, entertainment, and consumer marketing.

Prior to his executive roles with PeopleFluent, he served as CEO of marketing and public relations powerhouse Rogers & Cowan, where he led a successful 28 year tenure that propelled the brand through talent acquisition and amassed one of the strongest reputations in the industry. During his time at Rogers & Cowan he also established relationships with key corporate and consumer brands including Microsoft, HP, Intel, IBM, Myspace, and various technology start-ups. Prior to Rogers & Cowan, he played a significant role in the development of strategic plans for Columbia Pictures and Coca-Cola Telecommunications that resulted in the acquisition of new entertainment business ventures and co-financing arrangements with the Wall Street community.

Additionally, Tom Tardio serves on the Board of Directors for PeopleFluent and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Entertainment Industry Council. He was also a prior member of the IBM Mobile Advisory and Mobile Computing Marketing Advisory Board.

Frederik Ballon

Managing Director EMEA Operations

Frederik Ballon manages all sales and operations activities for PeopleFluent's Talent Management Suite in the EMEA region. He leads a London-based team that provides HCM transformation and technology implementation projects for multinational customers in a wide variety of industry sectors. Mr. Ballon joined PeopleFluent in 2005 and has been an Account Executive, Project Manager and Consultant to many global organizations in the areas of talent management and deployment, staffing best practices and HR analytics. Under his tenure, PeopleFluent’s growth and market adoption at large global organizations (5000+ employees) has been significant.

Mr. Ballon has extensive experience in the human capital management space. He began his career as an Executive Recruiter at Mezquita and Associates, Belgium before joining mobile phone operator Proximus as a Recruiter and HR Project Manager; implementing HR technology solutions including PeopleFluent’s RMS recruiting platform. Mr. Ballon moved on to become Recruitment Manager at AMI Semiconductor, where he managed the global staffing team and was also responsible for the global roll-out of several company-wide HRIS projects.

Mr. Ballon holds a Masters degree in Psychology from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, a European Masters degree in Sport Psychology from KU Leuven, Belgium and Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, as well as a Postgraduate in Business Administration from KU Leuven, Belgium. He is fluent in four languages: Dutch, French, English and German.

Scott Petersen

Vice President, Vendor Management System (VMS)

Scott Petersen is a recognized leader in sales and channel management with more than 15 years of experience building sales teams that consistently over-deliver on revenue and exceed customer expectations. 

In his role as Vice President of our VMS business, he leads a team that enables clients to manage their contingent labor, delivering full visibility in support of performance and compliance. A critical component of our total talent solution, PeopleFluent’s VMS facilitates all non-employee labor and services procurement, providing organizations around the world with true visibility into their contingent spend, compliance, cost, controls, risk mitigation, and efficiency.

Prior to joining PeopleFluent, Scott served as Vice President of Global Channels and Alliances at ArcServe, a privately held storage ISV, where he was responsible for a network of more than 7500 partners. His previous experience spans senior sales management roles at numerous leading technology companies—including virtualization and data management solutions provider Sphere 3D, as wellas Overland Storage, Tandberg Data, McData (acquired by Brocade), BakBone Software (acquired by Quest Software), and Sterling Software (acquired by Computer Associates).

Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Old Dominion University.

Sky Owens

Vice President Software Engineering and Operations

As Vice President Software Engineering and Operations, Sky Owens is responsible for managing all aspects of engineering, quality assurance, and operational support in PeopleFluent’s comprehensive product suite.   Sky is a proven results-driven leader, skilled at leading development teams and delivering market-leading, web applications built in native SaaS architecture for large, global enterprise customers.  

Prior to joining PeopleFluent, Sky lead engineering teams at CC Intelligent Solutions, a provider of user-focused IT solutions, and Tekelek,  a provider of sensor solutions and components across a vast range of industries.  Sky also worked at the National Telecommunication and Information Administration where he architected and oversaw development of the FreqCoord system, the first web service based system designed to communicate directly with private consumers in telecommunications and the FCC.   Sky earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Psychology at University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.
