Seasoned Finance Leader Joins Management Team to Oversee Strategic Financial Planning, Diversity and Workforce Planning Divisions

WALTHAM, Mass.June 3, 2015 PeopleFluent®, a leading cloud provider of social human capital management technology, today announced Chris Menard has been appointed senior vice president and chief administrative officer. Menard will be leading PeopleFluent’s administrative functions, including finance and accounting, legal and IT, as well as having operational responsibility for the Workforce Compliance and Diversity and Workforce Planning lines of business. He will report to Charles S. Jones, chairman of the board and CEO.

Prior to joining PeopleFluent, Menard was EVP and CFO at Bit9 + Carbon Black, a venture-backed, high growth technology company that produces security software to protect endpoints and servers in corporate networks. Prior to that he spent more than four years as CFO at Brightcove, a publicly-traded video SaaS company, where he led the company’s successful IPO in 2012 and subsequent M&A activity. Additionally, Menard spent nine years in various finance positions, including CFO at Phase Forward, a leading provider of enterprise software to manage clinical trials, which went public in 2004 and was acquired by Oracle in 2010. Menard also currently serves on the Board of Directors and is chairman of the Audit Committee at Globoforce, a provider of social recognition solutions.

Menard graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Babson College and holds an MBA from Boston College, where he also serves on the faculty part-time. He also serves on the Board of Overseers at Babson College.
