Charles S. Jones, who has spent much of his career as an operating executive for a wide range of large public international companies and small growth-driven private companies, has a reputation for innovation and customer-centric growth strategies. He has a proven and highly successful track record in integrating software companies, identifying key inflection points of differentiation and unleashing the inherent value to the market. Having led multibillion dollar global companies himself, Mr. Jones is acutely aware of the impact an engaged and productive workforce can have on the success of any organization. His strategic focus is on technical innovation and the extension of value throughout the business through the optimization of existing and new technologies for Peoplefluent customers.
Since becoming Chairman and CEO of Peoplefluent, the company has received numerous awards and accolades, including Peoplefluent Mobile Applications being selected for the coveted “Awesome New Technologies” spot at the HR Technology® Conference & Exposition, winning the HR technology industry’s Integrated Talent Management Shootout at the 13th Annual HR Technology Conference & Exposition, and named a finalist in the Cloud Computing/Software-as-a-Service Category in the Eighth Annual American Technology Awards.
Before becoming Chairman and CEO at Peoplefluent and Managing Partner of Bedford Funding, Mr. Jones was Chairman and then CEO of Markham, Ontario-based Geac Computer Corporation, a Toronto Stock Exchange listed software company with annual revenues approaching U.S. $500 million. During Mr. Jones’s tenure, he transformed the Geac business with two large public-company acquisitions and built an innovative and market-leading business intelligence software enterprise focused on the financial value chain. Geac received the highest ratings among all competitive offerings in Ventana Research's 2005 Performance Management Vendor and Product Scorecard. On October 1, 2001, the Wall Street Journal named Geac the number one performing global stock. In 2004, Mr. Jones was named on the top 10 list of CEOs in Canada and, in 2005, was recognized on the top 25 list of CEOs in Canada by Canada’s National Post newspaper.
Isobel Harris
Chief Customer Officer
Isobel Harris brings more than 25 years of strong, effective leadership and a wealth of experience in the software industry to her role of Chief Customer Officer at Peoplefluent. In this position, she ensures that the company’s Services, Sales and Support organizations are designed to help customers optimize their current investments in software with new Peoplefluent Talent Management innovations and with industry best practices.
Prior to joining Peoplefluent, Ms. Harris held the position of Vice President and General Manager at Geac, where she had global responsibility for the growth and day-to-day leadership of three of the $450 million global enterprise software company’s largest business units.
With a proven track record and a disciplined approach, Ms. Harris has created results-oriented teams, many of which have included Sales, Services, and Global Support and Maintenance, supporting multiple products and technologies in more than 50 countries. Ms. Harris has held senior management positions in Canada and in the United States, playing significant roles in corporate strategic planning and evaluating market potential and opportunities, and she has been a key contributor during due diligence for acquisition initiatives.
Steve Richards
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer for Peoplefluent, Steve Richards is responsible for managing the worldwide operations of accounting, financial planning and reporting, and treasury. He is focused on delivering profitable business results across the organization with a high level of transparency.
Prior to joining Peoplefluent, Mr. Richards served as CFO with four consecutive Greylock Partners-funded companies over a fourteen year period, most recently with Awareness, Inc., an innovator in social media marketing software. In addition, he served as CFO at ClearForest Ltd, a leader in text analytics software, which was sold to Reuters in 2007. Prior to ClearForest, Mr. Richards served as CFO of netNumina Solutions and of Tessera Enterprise Systems, both culminating in successful exits.
In addition to his experience in emerging software companies, Mr. Richards has worked in large enterprise organizations including Sybase, where he was Senior Finance Manager during the company’s high-growth period, when the company’s revenues grew from $150 million to nearly $1.0 billion over the five-year period.
Thomas Tisdale
Senior Vice President, North American VMS Sales
As Senior Vice President of Sales, Mr. Tisdale is responsible for the Vendor Management product line. As one of the first employees of Peopleclick, one of the companies acquired in the combination of three that now make up Peoplefluent, Mr. Tisdale leverages the history and industry experience he has gained in this marketplace to create solutions that drive high-performance cultures through talent. With over 20 years of sales and business development experience in the technology arena, Mr. Tisdale sets the strategic direction and leads a high-performance team to execute on the vision.
With a keen understanding of the customer landscape and pain points, Mr. Tisdale works closely with his sales team to deliver the right innovations to drive business success through a company’s talent initiatives.
Prior to joining Peoplefluent, Mr. Tisdale served as the Director of Sales and Partner Development at Seagate Software Network Management, where he led the company from a direct sales to a leveraged channel model. His efforts in sales development and partner strategy contributed to a 25 percent growth in business for the company. He also held key sales positions at Wall Data and Information Builders.
Chris Caldon
Senior Vice President, Marketing and Strategic Sales
With more than 20 years in the Talent Management (TM) sector, Mr. Caldon, as Senior Vice President for Marketing and Strategic Sales, combines his deep product knowledge, broad customer understanding and strong market awareness to bring Peoplefluent’s newest innovations and collaboration strategies to market and to optimize and integrate TM solutions for customers worldwide.
His deep knowledge of and experience in the HCM marketplace afford him a keen understanding of best practices and key requirements for Talent Management strategies within today’s global organizations. He brings his depth of knowledge to a customer-centric approach to selling that is focused on innovation, return on investment and the integration of Talent Management initiatives with overall business success.
Mr. Caldon returned to Peoplefluent in 2010 after helping to build Authoria, the first company acquired in the combination of three that now make up Peoplefluent, in its early stages. Mr. Caldon brings extensive expertise in global business execution, enterprise level customer service and product development and deployment from his most recent posts as Vice President and Head of Product Management at Fidelity HR Services and Fidelity Investments, respectively. At Fidelity, Mr. Caldon was responsible for market and product strategy, operational execution and financial modeling in a full-scale product development and deployment effort that spanned four continents to deliver a leading global HR outsourcing offering for use in EMEA and North America. Previously, Mr. Caldon worked as the Principal, HRM BPO Leader at Mellon Human Resources & Investor Solutions and as a consultant at Mercer.
John Keenan
Vice President, Sales
Mr. Keenan is responsible for North American sales activities for Peoplefluent. He brings more than 25 years of proven sales and executive leadership in SaaS, enterprise software and Human Capital Management markets. Throughout his career, Mr. Keenan has built and led high-performance sales and marketing organizations, identified new markets, won complex enterprise sales and delivered demonstrably strong results. He led sales organizations for SuccessFactors, Oracle, USDATA, Mercator Software and One Network.
Mr. Keenan has deep experience helping visionary technology leaders like Peoplefluent convert its strong foundation into market leadership through a combination of unmatched industry expertise, developing world-class sales teams and an unrelenting commitment to customer and partner success. And, having been an early-adopter of HCM solutions, he is passionate about its impact on financial performance, HR operational effectiveness and employee engagement.
Randy Jesberg
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Workforce Compliance and Diversity Solutions
Randy Jesberg has more than 22 years of extensive expertise in business development, international expansion and channel partnerships. As head of Workforce Compliance and Diversity Solutions, Mr. Jesberg is responsible for sales, implementation, support and development of diversity planning and compliance solutions that minimize risk and exposure for Peoplefluent’s clients. His division is focused on providing research, consulting and software solutions that help customers build best practices for diverse and balanced workforces to meet appropriate and regulatory guidelines. Mr. Jesberg’s market knowledge and exposure to key regulatory compliance issues are tremendous assets to our customer base.
Prior to joining Peoplefluent, Mr. Jesberg served as General Manager and Executive Vice President of Global Business Development at Trintech Group, a leading global provider of enterprise software, consulting and outsourced services for transaction reconciliation, workflow management and regulatory compliance. While there, he led the rapid expansion of the business into new international markets by establishing direct sales/delivery teams and revenue-generating channel partnerships. Randy also served as Vice President, Enterprise Resource Planning product line at AutoTester, Inc., a leading automated software test tool company designed to help customers worldwide with e-business, SAP R/3, ERP, and Windows software quality initiatives.
David McEvoy
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
As Senior Vice President and General Counsel, David McEvoy is responsible for Peoplefluent’s Legal organization, including the oversight of corporate policies, intellectual property, risk management, privacy and security, litigation and contract administration. Mr. McEvoy brings extensive legal experience and significant software industry expertise to Peoplefluent. Previously, Mr. McEvoy was the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of ATG, which was acquired by Oracle. Prior to ATG, he was Group General Counsel of Gores Technology Group, serving as a member of the M&A and Operations groups and as General Counsel of the Gores' technology-oriented portfolio companies. Before Gores, Mr. McEvoy was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of VeriFone, Mattel Interactive, and The Learning Company/Broderbund. He also practiced law at the law firms of Powers & Hall and Hutchins & Wheeler.
Alys Scott
Vice President, Corporate Communications
Alys Scott is responsible for Peoplefluent's corporate communications strategy. Ms. Scott brings more than 20 years of experience from the corporate communications, marketing, investor relations and public relations disciplines. Most of her career has been in the software industry, with time spent on both the corporate and consulting agency sides focused on corporate growth strategies, acquisitions, public market entries, and the articulation of market differentiation and corporate strategy to a wide range of constituencies.
Before joining Peoplefluent, Ms. Scott was Vice President of Corporate Communications for Geac, a global performance management solutions provider, where she worked with financial and industry analysts, business and trade media, customers and partners, and internal audiences to set communications direction during turnaround and acquisition phases.
Prior to joining Geac, Ms. Scott was General Manager of Miller Consulting Group, a leading technology communications consultancy in Boston. She also worked in different management, marketing and communications capacities at International Data Group, Shandwick Public Relations, where Charles Jones was the global Chief Operating Officer, and Entex Information Systems. She began her career in New York working in advertising at Wells, Rich, Greene and Young and Rubicam.
Doug Ring
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Ring is responsible for leading Research & Development at Peoplefluent. This includes identifying and executing on strategic partnerships and acquisitions, as well as reviewing strategic technologies and product planning. Through his broad exposure within the software industry and key relationships with industry influences, Mr. Ring brings extensive technology acumen and strategic vision to the company’s innovation agenda.
Most recently, Doug has been a Principal at Bedford Funding, providing technical and product guidance on Bedford’s technology investments. He was previously Chief Technology Officer of Geac, where he was responsible for all aspects of the software creation process including strategy, innovation, engineering and deployment. He was also actively involved in the communication of technology strategy to the press, industry analysts, senior management, partners and customers. Mr. Ring also served as Director of Emerging Technologies at Dun & Bradstreet Software prior to its acquisition by Geac. Adding to his domain expertise in the HCM marketplace, Mr. Ring spent a number of years in Human Resources consulting at a number of leading companies including Holiday Inn Worldwide, the Los Angeles Times, and Mattel Toys. He started his career at Canada Mortgage and Housing. Educated in Canada, Mr. Ring has a diploma in Civil Resources Engineering from Seneca College in Toronto and in Information Technology from Algonquin College in Ottawa.
Ronnie Thomson
Senior Vice President, Engineering
Mr. Thomson is responsible for managing worldwide software engineering, architecture, quality and hosted operations for Peoplefluent’s Talent Acquisition and Talent Management solutions. His proven leadership in building and managing global development teams, his product and platform design track record in the HCM arena and his customer-focused dedication to product quality are considerable assets as Peoplefluent continues to focus on market-driven innovation initiatives. In addition to supporting the success of existing customer environments, Mr. Thomson is dedicated to further enabling mobile, social and collaborative capabilities across the integrated Talent Management suite through both enhancement and expansion initiatives.
Mr. Thomson has spent more than half his career in the Human Capital Management sector. For nearly a decade, he served as Vice President of Engineering for Centra Software (acquired by Saba), which delivered online classroom, collaboration, and web conferencing solutions for the learning management space. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President for Quark, Inc., where he managed a portfolio of 15 different products across four global product development centers, implementing a single-suite schedule, launching a new SaaS offering, and developing a cloud-based product strategy for new product launches. In addition to working at Quark and Centra Software, Mr. Thomson was the director of Research and Development at Avaya Communications, and held engineering and architecture roles at Cadre Technologies.
James Bowley
Vice President, Strategy
Jim Bowley leads Peoplefluent’s strategy initiatives. He helps define market leading solutions from vision and strategy to the execution of Talent Management initiatives across a broad range of global businesses.
Mr. Bowley brings extensive knowledge of Human Capital Management, best practices, technology innovation, product strategy and integration from his hands-on experiences with customers. As a thought leader in the HCM space, and while at Peoplefluent, Mr. Bowley previously served in a variety of roles within the sales and professionals services organizations. In those roles, he was responsible for helping identify market growth opportunities and associated plans to execute upon them. Before joining Peoplefluent, Mr. Bowley held positions in organizational and communications consulting with Mercer and Towers Perrin. He worked with Fortune 500 companies to assess corporate culture and create matching communications strategies for employees, managers and HR staff. He is a frequent writer whose articles have appeared in a variety of publications including Human Resource Executive Magazine, Talent Management, HR Magazine and Compensation & Benefits Review.
Neal Bruce
Vice President, Product Management
With more than 19 years of experience in the Human Resources space, Neal Bruce is responsible for product strategy and the product roadmaps at Peoplefluent. His dedication to innovation that extends the life and value of existing customer environments while increasing employee engagement, productivity and collaboration are driven by his ongoing interaction with existing and prospective customers. He also focuses intently on market trends and direction with longstanding relationships primary industry analysts and influencers.
Prior to Peoplefluent, Mr. Bruce was the SVP of Product at First Advantage, where he was responsible for product strategy and execution across the product portfolio, including Candidate Marketing, Candidate Relationship Management, Applicant Tracking, Assessment, and Screening services. As part of the executive management team, Mr. Bruce actively participated in the successful sale of First Advantage to Symphony Technology Group in December 2010. Previously, Mr. Bruce held several senior management roles at Monster Worldwide including Director of Product Management, VP of Alliances, and VP of Monster’s Global Innovation Group. Prior to Monster, Mr. Bruce spent over 11 years in human resources roles at companies that include Ernst & Young and Parametric Technology Corporation.
Mr. Bruce served on the Board of Directors of HRsmart and EnticeLabs. He has also served as a member of Human Capital Institute’s talent acquisition board, IHR’s Online Staffing and Sourcing advisory board, and ASU’s Center for Services Leadership Board of Advisors. As a leader in the HR industry, Mr. Bruce is a regular public speaker on the topic of human capital and has been quoted in several periodicals including Forbes magazine, the Arizona Republic newspaper, and the Wall Street Journal’s CareerJournal.com.
Stephen Bruce
Vice President, Human Resources
Stephen Bruce is responsible for designing and implementing the company's Talent Management practices to energize a diverse and high-performance culture while leading the delivery of organizational management and HR services for the company. In this role, he ensures Peoplefluent maximizes the return on investment of all human capital assets. He performs continual capacity and capability planning in line with the current and future business plans of the organization.
Mr. Bruce’s deep domain expertise in a range of businesses, large and small, and his keen understanding of the critical issues and challenges faces by Human Resources organizations are a tremendous asset across multiple organizational functions within Peoplelfuent.
Mr. Bruce has wide-spread experience in strategic management and delivery of human resources in the software industry. Prior to joining Peoplefluent, Mr. Bruce held executive HR management positions for CDC Software, Infor Global Solutions, Geac Computer Corporation Limited and eCredit Corporation. Most recently, at CDC Software, Mr. Bruce was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, directing global HR for this $400 million software provider. Previously, he directed global HR for the strategic solutions group of Infor, comprised of the integration with Geac, SSA Global and Systems Union; and was the Vice President of Human Resources for eCredit. Mr. Bruce has extensive experience in all facets of HR including: executive leadership, talent management, mergers and acquisitions, organizational development and integration, performance management, competency development, international management and incentive/compensation programs and planning in diverse and dynamic software organizations.
Larry Cucchi
Managing Director, International Operations
Larry Cucchi is responsible for Peoplefluent's UK and European business development and client services based in London, England. He has more than 25 years of information technology and application software experience. Mr. Cucchi has responsibility for European clients and partners with services including customer and application support, engineering, implementation and sales. His experience and expertise in HCM solutions is evidenced by client retention and satisfaction rates, which have achieved close to 100% over the last 10 years of International Operations.
Before joining Peoplefluent, Mr. Cucchi was involved in the UK launch of one of the first online computer bureau-based payroll systems with Baric, a subsidiary of Barclays Bank and ICL. He then moved to Informatics Inc.'s Accounting Applications division as European Sales Manager, and after a management buyout of that division he joined Global Software Inc. based in Raleigh, NC as VP, International Operations. Over a period of eight years, he established direct operations in the UK, Canada and Australia and also aligned a group of partners focused on IBM mainframe and mid-range users worldwide. Following his return to the UK, he founded Global e-BIS Ltd which specialized in providing strategic business planning tools and OLAP-based analysis solutions.
